Equestrian

The Equestrian Center will offer world class facilities capable of attracting horse enthusiasts from all equestrian disciplines. Features of Albemarle ´s facilities include:

• Two large show rings with all-weather footing,
• Two dressage rings with all-weather footing,
• A full cross-country course with water jumps & banks,
• A large grass multi-purpose field for polo, grand prix jumping, etc,
• Special reserved seating for Members & their guests,
• Miles of natural riding trails,
• A Barn built in the British tradition for boarding,
• Horses available for Members & their guests to ride,
• Large grassy fields with natural fencing.

Albemarle´s extensive club and facilities will be capable of hosting equestrian events such as dressage competitions, hunter/jumper horse shows, three-day events and polo matches which would attract top competitors. The beauty of the trails offer riders and horses the relaxation and fun of hacking-out protected from the outside world´s development that has destroyed most of our surrounding riding areas. These multi-functional facilities and the wide-open countryside will make Albemarle a crown jewel for equestrian programs throughout the Southeast.

Programs such as Riding for the Disabled and 4-H Club events are also in development at Albemarle Estate.
